Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh): A surprising case has come to light under the Bamor police station of Shivpuri district where a man slashed his wife's nose when asked to have dinner.
The woman has been admitted to the hospital where she is undergoing treatment.
Before cutting the wife's nose, the husband also assaulted her and his two daughters.
Bamor police station in-charge Neeraj Rana said that on the complaint of the woman, a case has been registered against husband Rampravesh Banshkar, father-in-law and mother-in-law.
Seach is on for the absconding Rampravesh.
According to the police, a dispute between husband and wife was going on for a long time.
Notably, after a few years of marriage, husband Rampravesh Vanshkar started drinking and abusing his wife every day. She was living in her in-laws' house with two daughters and looked after the family.
According to wife Pooja Vanshkar, his husband attacked her with the intention of killing her.
"He attacked me badly with the blade. I immediately informed Dial 100," said Pooja.
She was admitted to Khaniyadhana Community Health Center where her treatment is going on.
