    Terrible glutes and knee mcl

hey all, i am mid 40s, i started working out 5 months ago after quite sometime, unfortunately i never really worked out my legs and glutes and recently had my knee mcl strained, my glutes are way tooo soft.

my upper body work out had improved substancially, from barely doing 1 pushup (yep that bad) i am on 35 now.

How would you approach training moving forward? i paid more attention to upper body, shall i just focus more now on lower body untill i see some improvment on lower body?
    any tips greatly appreciated

Is your MCL strain healed? What are your actual goals? Do you train at a gym?
