The police have arrested three persons involved in the theft of two-wheelers and have recovered two stolen motorcycles from their possession at two different places here on Sunday.

Two motorcycle-borne persons, identified as Ashwani Kumar and Rohit Kumar, both residents of Shimlapuri, were nabbed by a police patrol party near Matharu Chowk, while the duo was coming from the Bareta Road side. One Hero Splendour motorcycle (PB-10EM-6752), reported to have been stolen, was recovered from their possession. They have were booked under Sections 379 and 411 of the IPC.

In another incident, the police nabbed Mani Kumar, resident of Kakka village in the district from near Sial Chowk in Kakka, while he was riding a stolen motorcycle (PB-10FV-6586). A case under Sections 379 and 411 of the IPC has been registered against him.
