Travis Barker's Ex Responds After He Covered Her Name With Kourtney Kardashian Lips Tattoo

Shanna Moakler, the ex-wife of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, appears to have responded to her former husband's newest tattoo.

Tattoo artist Scott Campbell posted a photo of Barker's latest ink on Monday. The images include both a scorpion and, nestled beside its tail, a lipstick print—the latter belonging to none other than his newly-minted fiancée, Kourtney Kardashian.

"Scorpio season. On @travisbarker," wrote Campbell on Instagram. "Lips straight from the mouth of @kourtneykardash."

"Congrats you two," he added.

However, some have noticed that the placement of the new tattoo just so happens to cover one dedicated to his ex-wife Moakler. The previous tattoo, visible in old pictures of Barker, featured a blue heart with the name "Shanna" written across it.

While Moakler hasn't directly spoken on Barker's cover-up tattoo, she appeared to allude to the potentially-awkward situation in a Monday night Instagram Story.

Moakler shared a still from the 1993 thriller Point of No Return. Alongside it was a quote from the film, uttered by Bridget Fonda's character Maggie: "I never did mind about the little things."

Moakler finished the caption with a lipstick-print emoji—a subtle yet pointed nod to Barker's new tattoo and its inspiration.

Moakler and Barker were married from 2004 to 2008, and share two children, Landon and Alabama.

It's not the first time that Barker, 45, has used his body ink to express his love for Kardashian, 42, since their relationship became Instagram-official in February. In May, Kardashian shared images on social media of herself tattooing the phrase "i love you" onto Barker's arm.

In April, it was reported that Barker had gotten Kardashian's name tattooed above his left nipple.

Though the duo has only been reportedly dating since January or so, they've become known for their PDA-fueled relationship—as documented in outings and on each of their social media accounts.

The newest tattoo comes just over a week following the couple's engagement, which was announced via social media on October 17, after Barker popped the question at Rosewood Miramar hotel in Montecito, California. Photos show a lavish beachside setup of roses and candles at sunset. In the center of the massive floral arrangement stood the couple, embracing each other.

Kardashian captioned the Instagram post, "forever @travisbarker," while her new fiancé echoed in the comments: "FOREVER."

Following the proposal, Barker's kids voiced support for the pending nuptials on social media, as did his former stepdaughter, with whom he has remained close.

It will be Kardashian's first marriage and Barker's third.
