Filming for the AppleTV+ series, Shining Girls based on the novel by South African author Lauren Beukes has wrapped.

Emmy award-winning actor Elisabeth Moss both stars in and produces the upcoming thriller.

In the series, the Emmy award-winning actor will play a Chicago reporter who survives a brutal assault only to find her reality shifted as she hunts down the attacker.

The eight-episode show will air on the streaming service in 2022.

To commemorate the last day of filming, camera operator Spencer Gillis shared some behind-the-scenes snaps on Instagram, including one in which Elisabeth appears in character.

Lauren shared the pictures on Twitter, writing: "The Shining Girls (production code name Ripple Effects) has wrapped up shooting in Chicago! Thanks to camera operator Spencer Gillis for these on set snapshots from their Instagram. I'm sad the pandemic prevented me from visiting but so excited to see it on @AppleTV next year."
