Dabur withdraws controversial ad

Bhopal, Oct 26 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra said on Tuesday that the state government had sternly objected to a Dabur advertisement on the Karwa Chauth theme and warned that “legal action” would be initiated.

“As the company withdrew the commercial and tendered an apology on Monday in social media, the matter is settled,” he told the press here.

Khandwa, MP, Oct 26 (UNI) Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said on Tuesday that India is more secure under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership in sharp contrast to Congress tenures when terrorist attacks and blasts kept occurring.
“Now the tables have been turned as our Armed Forces are eliminating militants in their Pakistani den. Mr Modi made the Army more capable, equipped it with resources and rights,” he said while addressing a rally in support of Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Gyaneshwar Patil at Mohna village near Punasa in Khandwa parliamentary constituency where a by-election is underway.

Sagar, MP, Oct 26 (UNI) Farmers grappling with a fertilizer crisis briefly blocked the Punjab Mail on Tuesday at Bina Station by squatting on the tracks but were subsequently pacified.
Personnel of the Government Railway Police, Railway Protection Force and the district force rushed to the scene, sources said.
