PM Narendra Modi initiated agriculture into govt’s agenda: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath

GORAKHPUR: PM Modi included the agriculture system into government’s agenda and arranged Rs 1 lakh crore agriculture infrastructure to make the dream of self reliant India. Before 2014 farmers were committing suicide, and now no farmers are doing so, said Yogi Adityanath on Sunday.
The CM Yogi as speaking at a seminar organised by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).
"Before 2014, farmer’s were committing suicides but now with the efforts of PM Modi they are earning 1.5 MSP and no farmer is committing suicide.
Farmer Producer Organization and National rural livelihood mission could play a vital role in making rural areas self-reliant and the Centre has aimed to constitute 10,000 FPOs. More than 600 women are associated with Jhansi’s Balinee milk producer company and they earned a net profit of Rs 4 crore,” he said
