A source said: 'Pete is a great dad - he was devastated to be blocked from seeing Harvey and begged to see him more and more.
'He's tried on hundreds of occasions to see him. Pete is sick of Katie's lies and being dragged into her life again.
'He doesn't want her talking about him. He doesn't talk about her, she needs to stop talking about him.'
In her book, Katie writes that Harvey was upset when she and Peter split and even mentioning the singer's name around her son 'stresses him out'.

In 2009, Peter was given compensation and a public apology from Katie following an interview she gave to Heat magazine.
Peter sued for defamation after Katie falsely claimed he had cheated on her and did not genuinely care for Harvey.
Katie agreed to make a public apology in a statement read at the high court along with paying him undisclosed damages.

Elsewhere in her new book, Katie told how she visited an abortion clinic three times while pregnant with her son Harvey as she did not want to be a single mother.
The reality star revealed she got the impression from her ex Dwight Yorke that he would not want to stay with her if she chose to keep the baby.
In an extract from her new memoir Harvey & Me seen by The Sun, Katie said she didn't think it would be 'fair' on her child to come from a 'broken home', although she thinks differently about it now.
She wrote: 'I just thought, "How would I cope on my own?" I was only young and I presumed that nobody would want a single mum. So I booked in to a private clinic to have an abortion.'

Katie claims Dwight, 49, offered her no financial support when she told him she was considering a termination.
She said: 'When I told Dwight, he didn’t even offer to pay towards it. And at that point in my career, I wasn’t loaded like people would probably think. In fact, he didn’t offer me any support whatsoever. He didn’t even ask if I was OK.'
'I actually ended up going to the abortion clinic a total of three times. The first time, I got to the car park and I was ready to go in, but I pulled out at the very last minute. I actually made it inside the second time. I was sitting in the waiting room and listening for my name to be called out. "I can’t do this," I thought. So I got up and left.'
