    Stock market update: FMCG stocks down as market falls

    NEW DELHI: FMCG stocks were trading lower on Monday at 10:35AM

    Dangee Dums(up 1.25%) were among the top gainers.

    Vadilal Industries(down 6.11%), Dodla Dairy(down 5.52%), Prataap Snacks(down 4.23%), ADF Foods(down 3.83%), Nakoda Group(down 3.45%), Zydus Wellness(down 3.18%), Euro India Fresh Foods(down 3.16%), Heritage Foods(down 2.31%), Varun Beverages(down 2.25%) and Dabur India(down 2.14%) were among the top losers.

    The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 59.55 points down at 18055.35, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 111.56 points at 60710.06 at around 10:35AM.

    ICICI Bank(up 11.6%), Axis Bank(up 3.69%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 2.2%), Cipla(up 1.02%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 0.71%), Hindalco Industries(up 0.46%), NTPC(up 0.45%) and State Bank of India(up 0.35%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

    On the other hand, Divis Laboratories(down 3.16%), HCL Technologies(down 2.81%), Asian Paints(down 2.76%), HDFC Bank(down 2.54%), Eicher Motors(down 2.43%), Bajaj Finserv(down 2.36%), Wipro(down 2.32%), Tata Motors(down 2.27%), Bajaj Auto(down 2.22%) and Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 2.0%) were trading in the red.
