COIMBATORE: Kovai Medical Center and Hospital (KMCH) inaugurated a 750-bed hospital on Sunday. The hospital has been established on the campus of KMCH Institute of Health Sciences and Research. Inaugurating the hospital in the presence of doctors and staff, chairman and managing director of KMCH Nalla G Palaniswami said the hospital is commissioned with the noble objective of providing quality healthcare facilities at affordable cost and to transform the lives of people by offering them easy access to all types of medical services under one roof. “KMCH had added a new dimension to healthcare delivery with the commissioning of this general hospital. With the motto of Quality Healthcare for All this hospital marks yet another important milestone in the history of KMCH,” he said. The general hospital is empowered with a team of specialist doctors, nurses and paramedics. Infrastructure facilities include 750 general beds, 50 ICU beds, 30 emergency beds, 11 operation theatres and state-of-the-art medical equipment such as CT scan, MRI, Cathlab, ultrasound and digital x-ray. It offers 24/7 healthcare services.
