Reggie Bird is rumoured to be appearing on the new season of Big Brother in 2022.
But according to New Idea, Channel Seven hasn't splashed out the big bucks for Reggie's grand return to screens.
The 46-year-old, who won Big Brother Australia in 2003, is reportedly being 'paid peanuts' in the form of $170 a day, rather than an up-front fee.

Comeback: Reggie Bird is rumoured to be appearing on the new season of Big Brother: All Stars in 2022, but Channel Seven reportedly hasn't splashed out the big bucks for her return
This is in stark contrast to what some celebrities were paid to appear Seven's SAS Australia earlier this year.
Former NRL player Sam Burgess, for example, is rumoured to have been paid between $150,000 and $200,000 to star on the military-style show.
The source also claimed Reggie was given just two days to decide if she wanted to take part in the series, adding: 'It seems she's been taken for a ride.
'Her return to the Big Brother house was meant to signal better times. Here's hoping she wins again!'

A representative for Channel Seven declined to comment.
Of course, should Reggie win the 2022 season she'd walk away with the grand prize of $250,000.
The upcoming season will see memorable housemates from the past 20 years compete against 12 newcomers, with filming commencing in Sydney on October 12.
According to gossip website The Wash, 2004 winner Trevor Butler and fan favourites David Graham (2006), Estelle Landy (2012) and Layla Subritzky (2012) are rumoured to be entering the house.

Meanwhile, former lovebirds Tully Smyth and Drew Anthony may also join the show.
The Wash reports that while Drew has already entered the house, Tully is more than likely going to surprise her ex when she enters as an intruder.
Tully sent the rumour mill into overdrive last week when she shared a cryptic post on Instagram revealing she would be taking a break from social media.
She wrote: 'BRB, taking a break from social media to be this happy IRL [in real life]. TTYL [talk to you later], ILY [I love you]'.

Filming? Tully's exit from Instagram perfectly coincided with the filming of Big Brother 2022
