15-yr-old dragged into river by croc, missing

Karwar: A 15-year-old boy went missing after crocodiles in Kali river dragged him into the water in Dandeli town on Sunday afternoon. The incident took place on the Kali bank at Vinayak Nagar in the industrial town.
Mohin Mehaboob Ali had gone to the river bank to fish. Witnesses told police that they saw the boy being dragged into the river and suspect that he may have been taken by a crocodile.
Locals have reported a rise in crocodile attacks in the river. The taluk administration has summoned rafting teams from Ganeshgudi to locate the boy. Till late evening there was no sign of Mohin’s body.
Two months ago a huge crocodile had entered a residential area of Dandeli town creating panic. The animal strolled through a street and the vide had gone viral.
