Imphal, October 24 2021: NPP intending candidate Oinam Romen has exhorted the people of Singjamei A/C to elect qualified candidate without involving money in the upcoming elections to the state assembly.

He was speaking during a booth level meeting of polling stations 13/19 and 13/27 held at Singjamei Mayengbam Leikai on Sunday.

Romen further said that election is one of the most important and critical junctions for the people.

The fate of people will be decided by decisions taken by them.

If the power of electing the right candidate has been diverted through money and power then qualified candidates will never be elected, he added.

While pointing out that conducting free and fair election will give more meaning to democracy, he urged the people to refrain from indulging in election related violence as well.
