System of a Down have postponed last weekend's shows to next year after frontman Serj Tankian tested positive for COVID-19.
The Armenian-American band has rescheduled the shows to February 4 and 5, 2022.
System of a Down were scheduled to play two hometown shows featuring Korn, Helmet and Russian Circles on Friday and Saturday at Banc of California Stadium.
"It is with great regret that we must reschedule our Los Angeles performances to February 4th and 5th, 2022," System of a Down said in a statement posted on social media.
"Despite multiple precautionary measures, Serj has unfortunately tested positive for COVID," the band added. "We're sorry to disappoint our amazing fans with this last minute news. The health of our band, crew, venue staff, and all of our fans is our top priority."
The band promised to honor all tickets purchased for the shows for the new 2022 dates.
