From Bobby Darling to Billy Porter, celebrities who are out and proud about being LGBTQ+

The LGBTQ+ community has been integral to the performing arts. Even though many members of the entertainment industry were at times reluctant to admit their sexuality, it's no longer the same for all. Over the years, we have seen celebrities who are out and proud about being LGBTQ+. The openness of celebrities has made it easier for others to come out, stating their own sexual preferences in the hopes of spreading tolerance and acceptance. There is still a long way to go, but these lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual stars are inspiring LGBTQ+ people and boosting their self-esteem to accept their identity proudly.
