Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 3.42 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 2.24 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 1.79 crore), Lloyds Steels(numbers of share traded: 1.52 crore), Tata Power(numbers of share traded: 1.21 crore), Bank of Baroda(numbers of share traded: 1.05 crore), MFL India(numbers of share traded: 0.72 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 0.69 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 0.69 crore) and MPS Infotecnics (numbers of share traded: 0.68 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 10.5 points up at 18125.4, while BSE Sensex ended up 145.43 points at 60967.05.

On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 3.48 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 3.21 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 3.06 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 2.66 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 2.40 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
