Anand Mahindra appreciated the work done by the Thar owner and shared the image of the vehicle on Twitter. Apart from that, Anand Mahindra also posted a picture of the actor with the above said Mahindra Thar.

Moreover, The Big B himself clicked a picture with the Mahindra Thar and the owner, Anurag Chirimar. Later, Amitabh Bachchan signed on the Mahindra Thar's dashboard.

The Bollywood actor also posted a few pics of the Mahindra Thar on his Instagram handle, saying, "He has painted his entire car with dialogues from my films... and his shirt has all the names of my films... when you open the door to the car the sound system starts playing my dialogues."

A 6-speed manual transmission is available across the range as standard. Moreover, a smooth-shifting 6-speed automatic transmission is also on offer with both petrol and diesel engines to cater to the needs of urbanites.

The new Mahindra Thar is also available in both hardtop and soft top variants. Pricing for the AX optional variant starts from Rs 12.78 lakh (ex-showroom, India), whereas the LX variant starts from Rs 13.38 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
