Two men were held for illegal possession of sea cucumber in Ramanathapuram district on Sunday.

The accused, who have been arrested, were identified as Siddique (57) of Devipattinam and Jaheer Hussein (27), sources said.
The Forest personnel seized 500 kilos of sea cucumber and also recovered material meant for processing is based on a tip-off. Investigations revealed that the duo was about to smuggle sea cucumbers by sea to Sri Lanka
