Imphal, October 24 2021: Keishamthong MLA L Jayantakumar has announced that he will provide Rs 300 every month to widows below 50 years of age living in Keishamthong assembly constituency as long as he remains as representative of the people in the constituency.

Jayantakumar made this announcement during a felicitation function for former IMC ward no.12 corporator Potsangbam Premila on her appointment as NPP women wing state president.

Addressing the event held at the residence of one Yendrembam Dhananjoy of Kwakeithel Thokchom Leikai on Sunday, Jayantakumar said that he has been providing money at personal level to differently abled persons and people living with HIV in Keishamthong AC every month.

In the same manner, widows living in the constit uency will be provided monthly pension of Rs 300, he added.

The event was also attended by former IMC Ward No 9 corporator Soram Sunil (Kaka) and Kwakeithel Thokchom Leikai Development Society vice president Thokchom Shyamo.
