Star all-rounder Ben Stokes has been added to England’s Ashes squad. Stokes has been included in the squad after declaring himself fit for the action. After hearing this news every England fan will be delighted to watch the best all-rounder back in action.
Stokes, who took an indefinite break from cricket at the end of July to focus on his mental health and earlier this month, underwent a second operation on his injured finger and was not included in the England squad for the Ashes.
Now, after the return of their match-winner, England are favourites to win the Ashes 2021. Stokes was recovering from surgery on his left index finger and his mental health. He managed to get his mental well-being to a position where he is ready to unleash the best version of himself. Now, Stokes believes that he is back to his best and has already started the preparations for the series that begins on December 8th in Brisbane.
Star all-rounder said that he had a break to priorities his mental health and he also got a good amount of time to recover from his finger injury and now he is looking forward to playing with his teammates and, is completely ready for Australia.
“I had a break to prioritise my mental wellbeing and I got my finger sorted. I am looking forward to seeing my mates and being on the field with them. I’m ready for Australia,” said Stokes.
England will tour Australia to play the 5-Test match series to bring Ashes back to their country.
