Arshdeep Kaur Ist in MSc Physics

Amritsar: Arshdeep Kaur, a student of DAV College, stood first in MSc Physics (Sem IV) university exams by securing 1920 marks out of 2250. Principal Dr Rajesh Kumar congratulated the student and applauded the efforts of faculty members of the Physics Department — Dr Sameer Kalia (HoD), Dr Neeru Gupta, Dr Rajesh Kumar, Dr Maninder Kaur, Dr Ajay Kumar, Dr Manpreet Kaur, Dr Narinder Arora, Prof Rajeev Arora, Dr Neerja Kalia and Dr Vibha Chopra. He said the dedicated and hard-working students will always get all sort of help from college.

Rotary Interact Club installation

Stepping towards its services to society, DAV International School held a ceremony for the official installation of the Rotary Interact Club of the school by honourable members of Rotary Club, Civil Lines, Amritsar, on Saturday. Principal Dr Anjana Gupta acquainted the guests with the brief history and some special achievements of the school. She expressed her gratitude to the Rotarians for starting this initiative in the school. The student president Rotary Interact Club of the school Harnoor Kaur accorded a formal welcome to the dignitaries and assured of wholehearted contribution in the activities of the club.
