India administers over 102 crore 31 lakh doses of COVID vaccine so far; Recovery rate stands at 98.18 percent

India has administered over 102 crore 31 lakh doses of COVID vaccine so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Union Health Ministry said, more than 12 lakh 31 thousand vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry said, 18 thousand 762 COVID patients recovered during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate stands at 98.18 per cent. Till now, more than three crore 35 lakh people have recovered from COVID-19.
The country reported 14 thousand 306 new cases in last 24 hours. Currently, India's active caseload is around one lakh 67 thousand. The active cases constitute less than one per cent of the total cases and it is currently at 0.49 per cent, the lowest since March last year. The daily positivity rate stands at 1.43 per cent.
The Ministry said, the testing capacity across the country continues to be expanded and more than 60 crore seven lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far.
