Aryan Khan’s lawyers have filed a written submission to the Bombay High Court in reply to an affidavit received by them in relation to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and their panch Prabhakar Sail. In the said submission Aryan has denied any and all connections with Sail and also affirmed that he did not consume or possess any drugs when he was detained by NCB officials at the cruise terminal in Mumbai.

Sameer Wankhede, the Narcotics Control Bureau's Mumbai zonal head who is leading the probe in the cruise drugs case in which actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan is arrested, arrived in the national capital on Monday night. His visit to Delhi comes in the backdrop of the NCB ordering a vigilance inquiry into the allegations made by a witness in the cruise drugs case of an extortion bid of Rs 25 crore by some agency officials, including Wankhede, and others for letting off Aryan Khan.

The NCB also raised an alleged Pancha Prabhakar Sail’s alleged affidavit, not made in any court, in its reply. It said, “without going into the merits’’ it states that “attempts are being made on behalf (of who is not mentioned) to tamper with the ongoing investigations, with a malafide attempt to derail the same. This is evident from the contents of a purported affidavit dated October 23 by one Prabhakar Sail.’’
