Study completed on EV vs ICE vehicles.

Finally, I have been asking the question of how much it actually costs to operate an EV daily vs a conventional ICE powered one. The greenies won't like the answer and will ignore the daily / yearly costs and state its all about the environment. I read the study and am disappointed in 1 aspect, they failed to take the manufacture of the components required and the associated degree of pollution that comes with.

A guy bought a used EV in Alberta Canada. The batteries weren’t holding a charge very well so he had to keep it to short trips .
Went to the dealer and was told they had no idea how to get new batteries. Then later he finally gets an answer from cooperate , only to be told a replacement battery would cost more than he spent on the used car ,and was told to just buy a new ones.
    No thanks Geoff

They don’t care about cost. They think it’s the end of the world, therefore, “at all costs“. This is what makes them extremists and dangerous, and as always, that fear is being exploited for absolute power of entire industries.

I have to lmao , as our infrastructure will have to be upgraded to accommodate EV’s , and someone has to pay for that .
I’m ded srs, heard a commercial on our local radio ,and it was BC Hydro bitching about leaving cell phone chargers in the wall while not in use . They claimed it was taxing the system by 35% lol.
So wtf happens when every second house gets a 60 amp charging station installed ,when there bitching about unused cell phone chargers being an issue ?

    Common problem with early EV's.

I think rebuilding batteries could be an emerging market, not easy and the science isn't quite there but it makes way more sense than buying a brand new one.

I hope to never have to drive an EV but with Biden's gas prices I'll probably be on a bicycle pretty soon anyway.
