AR assists in recovery of vehicle

Imphal, October 23 2021: Churachandpur Battalion of IGAR (S) provided all necessary assistance including recovery vehicle and manpower for recovery of a vehicle which had fallen into a 40 feet gorge on October 19.According to PRO IGAR (S), the herculean task of recovering the vehicle took six hours of tedious effort from troops of Assam Rifles supported by local police representatives and members of Zomi Youth Association (ZYA).

The recovered vehicle was brought to Churachandpur and handed over to Zomi Mothers' Association (ZMA) officials.

ZMA, ZYA officials and locals came forward to acknowledge and expressed gratitude for the efforts of Assam Rifles and for the assistance, it added.
