BJP core committee dissects reports

Imphal, October 23 2021: Union minister Bhupender Yadav, who is also the election in-charge of BJP in Manipur, along with Minister of State (MoS) Justice and Empowerment and election co-in-charge Pratima Bhoumik have begun holding meetings with the core committee and other office bearers of the party, to chalk out plans for the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election, scheduled to be held in early part of 2022.Both Bhupender and Pratima arrived at Imphal Airport on Saturday morning and were welcomed by Chief Minister N Biren, BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda Devi and others.
After their arrival, they went to the party office at Nityaipat Chuthek, where a meeting of the Core committee of the state unit was conducted.
During the meeting, a detail discussion on updated reports with regard to the election was held, along with the policies to be taken up-by the party.
After the conclusion of the meeting of the core committee, meetings with various party office bearers were held consecutively to assess the present status of the party campaigns and the type of campaigns required.
The meetings were also attended by Manipur in-charge Sambit Patra.
The state unit also presented a report of BJP potentially securing its target of 40 seats in the polls.
Bhupender Yadav left for Delhi in a late evening flight.
