MLA Dawar distributes cheques

Ludhiana: Ludhiana Central constituency MLA Surinder Dawar today distributed cheques worth Rs25 lakh among 100 beneficiaries, who have roofs supported by wooden beams in their homes.

During a function at ward number 59, Dawar said the Punjab Government had released Rs2.5 crore to help beneficiaries replace the wooden beam supported roofs to concrete roofs.

Dawar said most of the beneficiaries belong to the weaker or downtrodden section of society. — TNS
