Imphal, October 23 2021: Tensubam Nandakumar and Phijam Bijenkumar of DM College of Arts bagged the 1st Position in the 2nd State Level Red Ribbon Club Quiz Competition 2021-22 held today at Kuki Inn, Imphal.

A press release issued today by Manipur State AIDS Control Society has stated that the competition was organized as a part of New India @ 75, Phase II Awareness Campaign on HIV, TB & blood donation.

Machunglu Inka & Dinkulungliu Gonmei of Tamenglong Govt College, Ksh Yugal and Ksh Ronald of Kha Manipur College Kakching and Avavel James and R.Lungbila Elizabeth of Mt Everest College Senapati secured the second , third and fourth positions respectively.

The press release further added that the State level winner will represent Manipur at the North East and Eastern India level regional competitions.

A total of 80 students from 40 different colleges took part in the competitions organized at the district level.

It may be mentioned that the New India @ 75 campaign is a campaign to spread awareness about HIV, TB & Blood Donation among school and college students.

The 3 phase campaign was launched on August 12, 2021 on International Youth Day by Union Health & Family Welfare Minister Dr Manshuk Mandaviya and phase II was launched by Union MOS for H&FW Minister Dr Bharati Pawar.
