Thane, Oct 24 (UNI) A medical expert at a programme here on Sunday underlined the dire need of the booster dose even after two shots of vaccine.

Addressing the gathering at the function organised to celebrate the country crossing 100 crore vaccinations and to felicitate representatives from the medical field and social workers, Dr Sushil Indoria, a prominent doctor from the city, said that every Indian should take two doses of Covid-19 vaccine for protection from the pandemic.

He also said that the country was now fighting the post-Covid synodrome and many were affected due to it, hence, even after the two doses, the booster was a necessity, he noted.

"We should vaccinate another 100 crore in the coming two months," he added.

The programme was organized by Diabetic Care Centre.

Former Additional Sessions Judge of Thane district court, Suresh Dwivedi, was the chief guest.
