Covid-19: Kalyan Dombivli reports 36 new cases, one death
The highest number of fresh cases came up in Kalyan west
THANE: The twin cities of Kalyan and Dombivli in Maharashtra's Thane district reported 36 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday.
According to the latest data by Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC), most of the cases came up in Kalyan west (15), followed by nine in Dombivli east, five in Dombivli west and four in Kalyan east.
Two persons tested positive in Manda-Titwala region, while one new case was reported in the Mohane region.
Also, one more death was reported in the KDMC limits.
At present, 455 patients are undergoing treatment for Covid-19 in Kalyan and Dombivli combined.

On the other hand, 79 persons recovered from the infection on Sunday, taking the total number of recoveries to 1,40,851.
