Two arrested for criminal Santosh Jagtap's murder in Pune

Pune, Oct 24 (UNI) The city police on Sunday claimed to have arrested two men who were allegedly involved in murder of notorious criminal Santosh Jagtap last week.
Addressing a news conference here this evening, city police chief Amitabh Gupta said that Jagtap was murdered by unidentified persons in a broad daylight two days ago near a hotel in Loni Kalbhor area.
The arrested accused were identified as Pavan Gorakh Mishal (29) and Mahadeo Balasaheb Aadilinge (26, both residents of Urlikanchan, near here).
While refusing to divulge further details about the accused, he said arms and revolver used in crime were recovered from them.
The gang rivalry may be the reason behind the murder of Jagtap, he added.
