Itanagar, Oct 23 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Saturday paid tribute to the 1962 war hero Subedar Joginder Singh, Param Vir Chakra (posthumous), who sacrificed his life while fighting against the Chinese troops at Tawang sector.
Subedar Joginder Singh, who belonged to 1st Battalion of the Sikh Regiment, leading his small unit
of men at Tongpen La (Bum La) fought ferociously against the overwhelming enemy forces in 1962
war until they were overpowered.
