Mumbai reports 465 new Covid-19 cases, 5 deaths

Mumbai has 4,356 active cases
MUMBAI: Mumbai on Saturday reported 465 new cases of coronavirus.
The overall case tally has now climbed to 7,53,272.
Also, the death toll has now mounted to 16,207 with five persons succumbing to the virus in the day.
Four of the deceased were over 60 years of age, while one was under 40 years. Four of them also had comorbidities.
The number of daily recoveries in the Maximum City was way more than the new cases. On Saturday, 562 persons got cured of Covid-19, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
With a recovery rate of 97 per cent, Mumbai has so far recorded 7,30,183 discharges.
The city is now left with 4,356 active cases.
The overall growth rate of Covid-19 cases from October 16 to October 22 is 0.05 per cent, while the doubling rate is 1,395 days.
The number of sealed buildings in the BMC limits is now pitched at 39, whereas there are no active containment zones (slums and chawls) in the city.
