Mumbai Drug Bust Updates: Bank details of Aryan Khan along with other accused under lens

According to official sources of NCB, bank details of all the 20 accused including Aryan Khan are under lens. When asked about checking Ananya Panday's bank accounts, the sources said "The bank accounts of all those who are associated with this case in any way (as suspects or witnesses) will be investigated, Ananya is cooperating in the investigation. We will oppose the bail of the accused in the High Court."

"If needed, some new chats will be shown to the judge during the hearing in the High Court, we have got the details of 5 to 7 new drug peddlers related to the ongoing case, the evidence of drugs coming to Maharashtra from other states," sources said.

Mumbai NCB is conducting new raids. As per the latest updates, raids are underway at three places in Bandra Mumbai.

The Narcotics Control Bureau shared details about the interrogation with actress Ananya Panday. the central agency states, she was questioned over some suspicious financial transactions, in addition to certain connections with WhatsApp chats with Aryan Khan. 

Mumbai NCB has started the work on retrieving the data of some electronic gadgets including two mobile phones and laptops of actress Ananya Pandey. 
The central agency suspects that parts of many chats including Ananya Pandey's mobile chats, some photos, and voice notes have been deleted and that is why it has started the work of retrieving them all back.

On Thursday, NCB raided Ananya's house and took possession of two mobile phones and laptops.

NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede reprimanded actress Ananya Panday on Friday for being late. He told the actress that the officers were waiting for her and she was late. Mumbai NCB had asked actress Ananya Pandey to appear for questioning for the second time at 11 am on Friday but Ananya reached the NCB office post 2 PM.

"This is not your production house, this is the office of the central agency, reach at the time you are called," he told the actress.

Shah Rukh Khan's manager Pooja Dadlani was summoned by the NCB today (October 23). She left the agency's office after being interrogated for over an hour.

So far, the anti-drugs agency has arrested as many as 20 people in connection with the case of seizure of banned drugs aboard a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast earlier this month.

As per the NCB sources, Ananya denied the allegation of supplying drugs to Aryan Khan, who is an accused in the case, and said that she has never consumed the drugs. "The chats recovered from Aryan Khan's mobile phone reveal that in the year 2018-19, she helped supply drugs to Aryan thrice by providing him the numbers of drug dealers," NCB sources told ANI. "Ananya denied the supply related talks in the chat conversation and told the NCB officials that she has never consumed or supplied the drugs," they added.

Bollywood actor Ananya Panday appeared before the Narcotics Control Bureau in Mumbai for the second straight day on Friday and was questioned for nearly four hours in connection with her alleged WhatsApp chats with Aryan Khan, son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, arrested in a drugs case. Ananya Panday has been again called by the NCB on Monday. 

Her actor-father Chunky Panday accompanied her to the NCB office as he had done on Thursday when she was questioned for the first time over chats linked to the case which relates to alleged seizure of banned drugs from a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast early this month.

Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, in his plea in the Bombay High Court seeking bail, has said the NCB was "misinterpreting" his WhatsApp chats to implicate him in the case of seizure of banned drugs aboard a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast earlier this month. Aryan Khan, currently in jail, on Wednesday moved the HC after a special court rejected his application for bail. The HC will hear his bail plea on October 26.

The 23-year-old claimed no contraband was recovered from him after the NCB raided the ship and maintained he has no connection with any of the other accused in the case except Arbaaz Merchant and Aachit Kumar.
