Jake Paul has hit back at Floyd Mayweather and Gervonta Davis after the pair mocked the YouTube star on Thursday evening.
Davis will return to action from Rolando Romero to defend his WBA lightweight title on December 5.
Although it is a considerable step up for Romero, he has natural power at lightweight and is confident he can secure a knockout.
During the press conference, ‘Tank’ called his opponent a ‘clown’ and ‘a Jake Paul’ and it did not take long for YouTube star to fire back.
He wrote on Twitter: ““Dear Floyd, IF you can read this, please tell your puppet Gervonta to leave my name out of his mouth.
“This clown makes double your purse in my 4th fight.. this clown double’s your PPV buys.. and is double your height. Gervonta should’ve fought me in kindergarten when we were the same height.”
As well as the incendiary comments, Paul attached a picture of himself as a child with Davis photo shopped next to him as well as a poster for the movie ‘StepBrothers’ with Davis and Mayweather edited on.
The 50-0 boxer actually fought Logan Paul back in June, clashing with the younger Paul brother in Miami, before eking out a draw.
‘The Problem Child’ is set to face Tommy Fury in December, with Frank Warren telling talkSPORT the deal could be announced imminently.
