Water level in Periyar dam on Friday stood at 135.45 feet (maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 3,805 cusecs and a discharge of 1,954 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level was 56.92 ft. (71 ft.) with an inflow of 2,597 cusecs and a discharge of 1,119 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 7,535 mcft.
