New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday held a meeting with World Trade Organisation (WTO) Director General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala ahead of the global body's 12th Ministerial Conference scheduled at the end of November.
During the discussion, Sitharaman stressed on fair, just and equitable outcome at the WTO Ministerial to meet developmental requirements of India for its people.

The Finance Minister had discussed trade-related issues with the WTO DG on the margins of the World Bank-IMF Meetings also during her recent visit to the US.
On a three-day visit to India, Okonjo-Iweala earlier met Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal.
