Open Fiber to bring 10Gbps fibre service to Sassuolo

Italian wholesale operator Open Fiber it has signed an agreement with Sassuolo city council to build an FTTH network in the Emilia-Romagna locality over the next 20 months. The company will invest around EUR 5 million to bring connections at speeds of up to 10Gbps to 14,000 homes and municipal buildings in Sassuolo via infrastructure spanning some 145 km.
