    Petrol and diesel prices up for third straight day. Here's what it will cost you now

    Synopsis

    State-run refiners revise the fuel rates on daily basis, taking into account crude rates in the international market and the rupee-dollar exchange rates.

    Fuel prices are up for the third straight day. Petrol and diesel in Delhi now cost Rs 106.89 and Rs 95.62 a litre, up by Rs 0.35 respectively. With back-to-back hikes, fuel prices now are at an all-time high.

    In Mumbai, petrol and diesel prices per litre will cost Rs 112.78 and Rs 103.63 respectively while the same costs Rs 107.45 and Rs 98.73 in Kolkata. In Chennai, petrol costs Rs 103.92 a litre and diesel Rs 99.92.

    State-run refiners revise the fuel rates on daily basis, taking into account crude rates in the international market and the rupee-dollar exchange rates. Any change in prices is implemented with effect from 6 am every day.
