Prime Minister Modi addressed the nation on completion of administering 100 crore plus vaccines, today. “100 crore Covid vaccine dose landmark is not merely statistics, it's a new chapter in history,” he said.

Congratulating the nation, he said that this was no ordinary feat. The Prime Minister spoke of how even in remote areas of the nation, the vaccine was provided to citizens, free of cost.

He also said that the country was receiving flak when vaccines were rolled out, as the population was too large and the task seemed unimaginable.

He applauded the fact that the nation came together to receive the vaccine despite international disbelief.

“Science born, science-based and science driven”, the Prime Minister said while speaking of the vaccination drive.

The Cowin platform has not only given commonfolk ease of access but has also been helpful to frontline and medical personnel. The platform has gained international acclaim.

The receding impact of Covid can be seen in terms of foreign investment. The Prime Minister spoke of a record investment from foreign entities in startups, creating several unicorns out of the country.

While addressing the nation, he also spoke of the ‘Vocal for Local’ initiative where things manufactured in India must be supported. In the festive season, he says, local artisans must be supported.

Despite the ‘kavach’ providing protection, the Prime Minister said that citizens must continue to remain careful, "until the war is over".
