DPSRU signs MoU with AAAG Hospital for training and research

NEW DELHI: Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU) has signed an agreement with Aruna Asaf Ali Government Hospital for collaborative activities that involves support and advancement of academic tie up for the purpose of training and posting for the students of undergraduate and post graduate programmes.

In this process, AAAGH has assured DPSRU that it would extend its’ ‘necessary help’ to provide the platform for promoting best health care delivery in Delhi including facilities required of all sorts of Physiotherapy Training.

Physiotherapy and Hospital administration based research activities including case studies, experimental studies, development of new treatment protocol shall be worked on.

“We look forward to develop jointly academic and research programs with hospital with a focus on public health,” Professor Ramesh Kumar Goyal, the Vice Chancellor of DPSRU said.



Dr. O.P. Shukla, the Registrar of DPSRU added "Such collaborations pave the way for the education sector to work in the field of public health".



While DPSRU will provide facilities and expertise to conduct clinical research projects for AAAGH, both parties will bring all the required funding required to execute the project with regard to consumables, reagents and other costs involved in executing the project.
