Himachal Pradesh reports 176 new Covid-19 positive cases, 2 deaths

SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh reported two Covid-19 deaths and 176 positive cases on Friday while 141 positive patients have also recovered. One death each has been reported from Hamirpur and Kangra districts.
In the state, only Lahaul-Spiti and Sirmaur are the districts with zero active cases. State has total 2,22,312 confirmed positive cases of which 1,483 cases are active, 2,17,095 patients have recovered while 3,717 patients have died.
So far, total 36,10,545 persons have been tested for Covid-19 till date of which 33,88,128 persons have been tested negative. Since 7 pm on Thursday, total 9,530 samples were tested in the state while results of 105 samples are awaited.
Positive cases reported include 12 from Bilaspur district, 2 from Chamba district, 21 from Hamirpur district, 87 from Kangra district, 6 from Kullu district, 21 from Mandi district, 10 from Shimla district, 2 from Solan district and 15 from Una district.
Those recovered include 10 from Bilaspur district, 23 from Hamirpur district, 62 from Kangra district, 2 from Kinnaur district, 16 from Mandi district, 13 from Shimla district, 7 from Solan district and 8 from Una district.
Bilaspur district has 92 active cases, Chamba district has 14 active cases, Hamirpur district has 300 active cases, Kangra district has 547 active cases, Kinnaur district has 7 active cases, Kullu district has 35 active cases, Mandi district has 186 active cases, Shimla district has 85 active cases, Solan district has 34 active cases and Una district has 183 active cases.
