    Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

    In the Nifty pack, 30 stocks were trading in the green, while 20 stocks were trading in the red.

    NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 413.47 points up at 61336.97 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

    On the BSE, Regent Enterprises (down 20.00 per cent), Real Strips(down 19.87 per cent), Arambhan Hospitality(down 17.26 per cent), Econo Trade(I)(down 10.20 per cent) and UTL Industries (down 9.95 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

    In the Nifty pack, 30 stocks traded in the green, while 20 stocks traded in the red.

    The Nifty index was trading 103.05 points up at 18281.15.

    On the BSE, SBL Infratech Ltd., UTL Industries, Texel Ind(PP), Trescon and Advance Lifestyles Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while 3i Infotech, KDDL Ltd, Rail Vikas Nigam, IRB Infra Dev. and Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week highs.
