Xiaomi Redmi TV Announcement

Two Redmi Smart TV X 2022 models were unveiled – 55” and 65” – both with 120 Hz displays and features dedicated to watching sports and gaming, including getting an official recommendation from the Xbox team in China.

The two TVs have HDMI 2.1 ports with support for variable refresh rate (VRR) thanks to FreeSync Premium. Auto Low Latency Mode is also supported, so that the TVs automatically switch to a gaming mode with just 4 ms latency when you hook up a console or PC. If you’re watching video or live TV instead, the footage can be converted to 120 fps by the TV.

That price is in China (local). Global price (if available) will be more expensive as usual.

That price is unthinkable when even the cheapest 120Hz TVs such as Hisense U7G and TCL 6 series costs more than one and a half of it at $700. However, there is no mention of brightness.
