VARROC ENGINEERING Share Price Up by 9%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 0.7% Thu, 21 Oct 09:29 AM
VARROC ENGINEERING share price has zoomed 9% and is presently trading at Rs 320.
Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 27,286 (up 0.7%).
Among the top Gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today is VARROC ENGINEERING (up 8.8%).
SADBHAV ENGINEERING (down 0.2%) and BHEL (down 1.5%) are among the top losers today.
Over the last one year, VARROC ENGINEERING has moved up from Rs 308 to Rs 320, registering a gain of Rs 12 (up 3.8%).
On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS has moved up from 13,704 to 27,286, registering a gain of 13,582 points (up 98.6%) during the last 12 months.
The top buzzing stocks among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index stocks during this same period were CARBORUNDUM UNIVERSAL (up 240.0%), HEG (up 231.2%) and GRAPHITE INDIA (up 213.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 61,621 (up 0.3%).
The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ONGC (up 3.0%), SUN PHARMA (up 1.6%) and POWER GRID (up 1.3%). Other gainers include NTPC (up 1.1%) and KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 1.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and SBI.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 18,384 (up 0.3%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include ONGC (up 2.8%), IOC (up 2.8%) and TATA MOTORS (up 2.3%). Other gainers include SUN PHARMA (up 1.5%) and CIPLA (up 1.3%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,432 to 61,621, registering a gain of 21,189 points (up 51.91%).
VARROC ENGINEERING Financial Update...
VARROC ENGINEERING net profit down at Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended June 2021, compared to a loss of Rs 1 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 15.8% to Rs 29.4 billion during the period as against Rs 34.9 billion in April-June 2020.
For the year ended March 2021, VARROC ENGINEERING reported 5791.6% decrease in net profit to Rs 6.6 billion compared to net profit of Rs 117.0 million during FY20.
Revenue of the company grew 1.6% to Rs 113 billion during FY21.
The current Price to earnings ratio of VARROC ENGINEERING, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 8.5x.
