Minister Vungzagin wraps up tour of home AC

Churachandpur, October 20 2021: Thanlon assembly constituency MLA and TA&H minister Vungzagin Valte ended his two-day visit to his home constituency on Wednesday.
During his visit, the minister interacted with village chiefs, public leaders, CSO leaders and general populace, listening to their demands and drawing up a roadmap for development of the far-flung Thanlon AC region.
Assuring the community of the government's commitment to provide adequate and clean drinking water through Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), the minister said that implementation of the project needs the support of the people.
Vungzagin Valte also planted tree saplings at Sinzawl High School, Mualnuam and other government schools under the aegis of Youth and Eco Clubs of the schools.
Inspecting the ongoing construction work of an eco-tourism project at Mualnuam, the minister informed that the project, once completed, will have facilities like cafeteria, public utility, open stage, pathway, drainage and beautiful landscape with a wonderful mountain view.
The government is gearing towards adapting more eco-friendly and sustainable solutions in its developmental initiatives, he said.
Speaking to the public at different places during his visit, the minister urged them to love one another as hatred brings nothing good for the people nor development for the land.
"We travel through the same road, drink from the same water source, get electricity through the same powerhouse and worship the same God.
Therefore, we should not be divided by any external force that has evil intention" Vungzagin stated.
