LUDHIANA: Ludhiana's elite Lodhi Club has started two projects with an aim to save more than 5 lakh litre water every fortnight.
Club's general secretary Nitin Mahajan said: “The executive committee of Lodhi Club has initiated water harvesting of swimming pool and rain water harvesting at club premises. The club will be able to save more than five lakh litre water, which was earlier being drained every fortnight. Now the water be used for gardening, watering of trees and plants in the green belt area and the adjoining parks of the club.”
