Ufinet and Nedetel to merge Ecuador operations

Latin American neutral infrastructure wholesale operator Ufinet said it has reached an agreement to incorporate Nedetel's operations into its Ecuadorian business to boost the local wholesale offer. Under the deal, Nedetel's fibre-optic network covering all the provinces of mainland Ecuador as well as more than 150 cities will be added to Ufinet's local fibre broadband infrastructure.
