STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE Share Price Up by 6%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Up 0.7%

STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 575.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE Index is at 25,705 (up 0.7%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE Index today is STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE (up 5.5%).

THYROCARE TECHNOLOGIES (down 0.3%) and ASTRAZENECA PHARMA (down 0.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE has moved down from Rs 746 to Rs 575, registering a loss of Rs 172 (down 23.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE has moved up from 19,743 to 25,705, registering a gain of 5,962 points (up 30.0%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE HEALTHCARE Index stocks during this same period were PIRAMAL ENTERPRISES (up 104.5%), FORTIS HEALTHCARE (up 103.4%) and APOLLO HOSPITALS (up 90.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 61,621 (down 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ONGC (up 2.7%), KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 2.3%) and HDFC (up 1.1%). Other gainers include SUN PHARMA (up 1.0%) and POWER GRID (up 1.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 18,384 (up 0.1%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include IOC (up 3.4%), BPCL (up 2.7%) and ONGC (up 2.5%). Other gainers include KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 2.2%) and EICHER MOTOR (up 1.5%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,432 to 61,621, registering a gain of 21,189 points (up 51.41%).

STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE Financial Update...

STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE net profit down at Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended June 2021, compared to a loss of Rs 621 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 17.3% to Rs 6.9 billion during the period as against Rs 8.3 billion in April-June 2020.

For the year ended March 2021, STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE reported 158.0% increase in net profit to Rs 3.6 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.4 billion during FY20.

Revenue of the company grew 11.2% to Rs 33 billion during FY21.

The current Price to earnings ratio of STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 172.5x.
