'I'm not going to say when, but there's only two weeks left. It's going to happen in that window.'

He also touched upon how dramatic the season had been in 2021, saying: 'It's one thing living it, then it's another thing actually watching it.

'I didn't realise how much drama we created, but we definitely ruffled some feathers when we were there.'

The cheating scandal has been the talk of Bronte Court over the last few months.

Viewers were left shocked as it was revealed that someone broke into host Scott Cam's office and took a photo of the production schedule, giving contestants who saw it the unfair advantage of knowing exactly which challenges were coming.

Eventually, Tanya Guccione confessed to the camera that she had been sent the photograph by an 'anonymous tradie' - and then forwarded it to the Packham twins - but has since refused to confirm who exactly the 'tradie' is.

Her story has aroused suspicion, as she later claimed that there was 'no break in', and that the schedule was displayed outside of a bathroom where all the contestants could see it.

She told Daily Mail Australia: 'There was no weird break-in. That's reality TV. I wasn't the only one that used the bathroom.'

She also claimed there were more people involved in the scandal than viewers were led to believe, cryptically adding: 'There's no doubt I lit the match. But that fire kept a lot of people warm, let me tell you.

'It's hard to take the full brunt of it when you know there were other willing participants, to be honest.'

Both she and husband Vito along with the Packham twins had two points deducted from their basement challenge as a punishment, but so far the knowledge of who actually took the photograph remains a mystery.
